Completed in 2007 to a budget of £11 million, the 2,500 sqm clubhouse is the flagship of the Virgin brand. Embodying Virgin’s unrivalled reputation for hospitality , the Clubhouse features a full complement of leisure facilities, as well as a bar, restaurant, library and business centre.

Inspired by the landscape of the British Isles, the space is arranged across two sculpted levels with a series of ‘landmarks’ and ‘vistas’. The layout encourages instinctive navigation as passengers explore their surroundings. Overhead in the main space, a unique sweeping ceiling recalls and expanse of sky, raked by gently drifting clouds.
